FOA GIVES TO COMMON PANTRY IN A PARTNERSHIP WITH TASTE THE DIFFERENCE CLUB

While we may be apart, we can still make a difference together as a Viking team. Let’s connect our community through giving. Friends of Amundsen are partnering with the student members of Taste the Difference Club to collect food and goods for the Common Pantry to help fight hunger in our community.

Dates: December 7th - December 16th

What to donate: Here is a list of food and personal care items that are most in need right now. Also needed are quart-sized ziploc bags which the Common Pantry uses for repackaging bulk items into smaller portions.

Drop off Locations:

Amundsen High School Back door #7 Enter the parking lot off of Foster. Weekdays @ 5pm

Embellish Boutique: 4161 N Lincoln Ave. 12-5 Sat/Sun (Receive $5 coupon to shop when you drop!)

Sweet Virginia's Kitchen: 5131 N Damen Ave 3-7 Sat/Sun (Please call ahead to order coffee, donuts or dinner to pick up when you drop!)

Procedure:

Drop boxes will be set up outside drop off locations. Please wear a mask to assure a safe drop off, and social distance from others who might be dropping at the same time.

Giving is contagious! Help fuel the Taste the Difference Club Charity Challenge on social media. Take a picture of you and your donation, post to Facebook or Instagram with #charitychainchallange, and nominate others to do the same.
